A programme that enables students to adapt to changes in the focus of examination questions being set by schools today. The course explores with the students the alternate ways in which questions are asked and our teachers work with students to find possible methods by which they can be solved. This gives students confidence in facing examinations and higher order questions.
The course initiates the students to a wide spectrum of problem solving strategies. Many difficult concepts are toned down with well-illustrated examples, involving simple numbers. With progressive exposure to a wide and varied strategies in problem solving, the students will develop thinking skills which will help them to become a creative problem solver. It is important to present your answer in a clear concise manner, through effective use of models, language and showing of intermediate steps.
This course comprises of four modules namely, Module 1, 2, 3 and 4. With each module, it increases in complexity and higher standard is being set. Each module is broken up into 10 lessons, duration one and a half hours each lesson. To complete this course, you will require to attend all 40 lessons over an estimated period of 10 months.
