To test our mettle, we purchased a failing tutorial centre, floundering at its very foundations and rapidly turned its businesses around to one of resounding success. WHIZ-LAND registered with the Singapore Ministry of Education under the hallmark of Bookcraft Education Centre (MOE Registration No : 1029), made its first mark in the Singapore tutorial marketplace in the early months of 1995.

Soon after the management of the company decided to go full ahead, prompted by our previous successes, opened branches in the residential districts of Hougang and Yishun. These ventures grew rapidly in leaps and bounds extremely successfully and in the short span of one and a half years, we were desperately looking for alternative sites/ locations with larger floor space to accommodate our growing number of student registrants. Shortly thereafter, we found suitable premises and after extensive renovations to these premises, moved our operations to our new locations and remained, providing a high level of service and commitment to our students studying with us.

In June 2000, we entered into a joint venture with the local residents committee in the Yew Tee residential estate and established tutorial services and other enrichment services for the residents of the neighbourhood. Together with the management committee of the CC and RC, we have endeavoured and produced a high level of community service to the residents participating in the programmes. Although initially skeptical of our organisation's ability to deliver good academic results and the ability to proceed to entice mass student participation, the RC now had boasted a student enrolment for the various courses of more than 400 students in spite of stiff competitors located nearby.

Currently our organization stands with branches of operations in the residential districts of Choa Chu Kang, Hougang, Yishun, Yew Tee, Woodlands, Serangoon, Tampines and Marine Parade. In Jan 2004, we commerced our franchise division operations at both Marsiling and Marine Parade, the former being our Woodlands Branch, which has since been converted to a franchise centre, under the leadership of Mr Yang Koh Keyong Winson. Our other franchisee, Mdm Doreen heads the Marine Parade operations. From here henceforth, we continued to set-up Serangoon, Tampines and Choa Chu Kang Franchise Division and also include our upcoming Yew Tee Cluster Division. The Serangoon Franchise Division is led by Mdm Joy Mah Wai Peng. Mr Ong Chuan-Aik leads the Tampines Franchise Division while Ms Tunaidah Bte Hameed leads the Choa Chu Kang Franchise Division. Tentatively, Mdm Teoh Lee Huang Rebecca has been identified to lead Yew Tee Cluster Division.

Parallel to this, we are also service providers to schools and we have the confidence of various governmental, quasi governmental and private schools in this knowledged based economy of the new millenium who use our teaching and curricular services. Our strengths lie in the provision of the highly sought after Mathematics and English creative thinking courses, these enriching the students academic standings to give them the ability to stand out from others in a mass of people. To-date, we are still conducting various enrichment courses with Westview Primary School, Teck Whye Primary School, Rivervale Primary School, South View Primary School, Daqiao Primary School and St. Nicholas Girls' School. Mind training, character moulding and leadership building are also courses that we have successfully conducted and we have now branched into bringing the creative arts to schools through our registration with the Singapore National Arts Council.

Our trainers are highly qualified and experienced and share our common goals of having every student aspiring to be his or her best. The success we have enjoyed have propelled us to seek new vistas of providing more varid services to more diverse groups of students on the international scene.

Currently our agents are in Peoples Republic of China , Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia ,Thailand and Europe scouting areas for us to promote education on an international level and also in the invitation of foreign students visiting Singapore with either the aim of understanding the Singapore Education Culture or with the aim of coming to Singapore in search of a more all rounded education with our highly acclaimed international standards. In so doing we hope to promote the diminishing of international boundaries that keep students from all lands apart and invoke a sense of a wider student friendship networks.
